CHINESE NEW YEAR.

Tradition runs in the family that no meat is allowed this day. So everything will be vegetarian. There aren’t any set dishes that day, but most dishes also signifies good health and fortune again. For dinner that night:

- Fortune Boxes (Tofu with Stuffed Rice, Pea, Corn)

- Deep Fried Wonton (Without Meat, but with Sweet and Sour Sauce)

- Traditional Veggie Dish (9 ingredients including corn, bamboo shoots, tofu…)

- Rice wrapped in Lotus Leave

- Mushrooms and Veggies with Abalone Sauce

Needless to say, it was a wonderful dinner! My mom is such a good cook!
